Fertility & Women's Health Center - Dr. John Storment

John M. Storment, MD

After graduating medical school from Louisiana State University in 1992, Dr. Storment completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology from UT Health Science Center in Houston, TX, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT.

Dr. Storment subsequently established his medical practice in Lafayette, LA, in 2002 after three years with Fertility Institute of New Orleans. He is affiliated with Women's & Children's Hospital where his Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Center is currently located. The ART Center houses state-of-the-art medical equipment for the advanced infertility treatments of in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), blastocyst culture, assisted hatching and embryo cryopreservation. Dr. Storment is also affiliated with Lafayette Surgicare Surgical Center, located on the Women's & Children's Hospital campus, where he performs almost all his surgical procedures.

Dr. Storment is a Clinical Associate Professor with Louisiana State University School of Medicine and has been on faculty since 1999. He has published numerous articles on infertility, ultrasonography, and the physiology of hormone replacement during menopause. His current research projects involves evaluation and treatment of endometriosis and infertility. Dr. Storment remains active in resident education in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and recently receiving “best teacher award” from the resident physicians. He volunteers at Lafayette Community Health Clinic each month providing gynecologic care for the “working uninsured”.

Dr. Storment is a member of ACOG (American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) , ASRM (American Society for Reproductive Medicine), SRS (Society of Reproductive Surgeons), Louisiana State Medical Society, Lafayette Parish Medical Society, AAGL (American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists).

 

William D. Pelletier MD

William D. Pelletier, MD

After graduating medical school from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA, in 1968, Dr. Pelletier completed his internship and a subsequent residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.

A native of Sulphur, LA, Dr. Pelletier served in the military as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1971 and has practiced in Lafayette since 1974.

Dr. Pelletier's practice specializes in general gynecology, menopause, infertility, endometriosis, and recurring pregnancy loss. He is a member of ACOG, SRS, ASRM, Louisiana State Medical Society, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, Lafayette Parish Medical Society

James L. Zehnder MD

James L. Zehnder, MD

Dr. Zehnder graduated from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA, in 1967 and completed his internship and a subsequent residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He then did a fellowship for one year in infertility at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans.

A native of Lake Charles LA, Dr. Zehnder was a flight surgeon in the USAF during the Vietnam War. He has practiced in Lafayette since 1974.

Dr. Zehnder's practice specializes in general gynecology, menopause, infertility, endometriosis, and recurring pregnancy loss. He is a member of ACOG, ASRM, Louisiana State Medical Society, Lafayette Parish Medical Society, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.

 

Dr. James Broussard

James Broussard, PhD

Dr. Broussard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana (Lafayette) in Animal Science.  He received his Master of Science and doctorate in the field of Female Reproductive Physiology from Louisiana State University.  He has spent the last several years establishing a track record of exceptional pregnancy rates for IVF at Walter Reid Army Medical Center and later at the Center of Reproductive Endocrinology (Spokane, Washington).  He has published numerous articles in the field of reproductive physiology and infertility.

 

Julie Dupre, MS

Julie Dupre, MS

Ms. Dupre is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Animal Science. She received her Master of Science in the field of Reproductive Physiology from Louisiana State University.  Prior to moving back to Lafayette, she served as an embryologist/andrologist for The Northwest Center for Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology in Margate, Florida.
